Dee Girard, executive director of the American Liver Foundation's Upper Midwest Division, was featured on a KARE-TV segment on March 20, 2015. She discussed the importance of the American Liver Foundation's special fundraising efforts, such as Flavors, to help people living with liver disease. Aaron Hagerdorn, host chef of ALF’s Flavors Twin Cities, was also featured.

Reporter Kiran Herbert included the American Liver Foundation as a "top charitable pick” for March 30-April 5, 2015 citing its premier Flavors of Denver event.

ALF Connecticut Division Medical Advisory Committee members David Mulligan, MD, and AnnMarie Liapakis, MD, discussed the liver transplant process, the difference a liver transplant can make and the difficulty of qualifying for one. The segment, which aired on March 30, 2015, also mentioned the upcoming Flavors of Connecticut event. Dr. Mulligan is a professor of surgery (transplant) and section chief, Transplantation Surgery and Immunology at Yale School of Medicine. Dr. Liapakis is an assistant professor of medicine (digestive diseases) and surgery (transplant) at Yale School of Medicine.

American Liver Foundation Medical Advisory Committee Member Greg Everson, MD, discussed the importance of organ donations. His remarks coincided with the Rocky Mountain Division’s Flavors of Denver event held on April 2, 2015. Dr. Everson is a professor of medicine at the University of Colorado and director of the section of hepatology.

Reporter MaryEllen Fillo published a post-event recap of Flavors of Connecticut on April 1, 2015. The article discussed the culinary concept behind Flavors, an overview of the participating restaurants and a few quotes from prominent chefs.
