Did You Know?

Liver transplantation is the second most common form of organ transplantation performed in the United States.

Between January and November of 2015, there were a total of 28,211 organ transplants performed in the United States of America.

6,500, or 23%, of the transplants performed during that time period were liver transplants.

Currently, in New England, there are 3,393 people awaiting a lifesaving organ transplant.

880, or approximately 26%, of those indviduals are waiting for a liver.
